Peterson Machinery Company – Hillsboro
“Throughout the design and construction process this group was highly engaged and always looking out for Peterson Machinery’s best interest, whether it be related to design elements and aesthetics, constructability, or budget consciousness. This team knows how to engage their clients proactively and with the best project outcome in mind. The overall success of this project was greatly included by the great collaboration of the entire team throughout the project from concept to final occupancy and beyond.”
Gary Spence – Corporate Facilities Manager
Description
Peterson Machinery previously leased fifteen buildings on 31 acres in North Portland. CIDA was requested to provide a full-facilities assessment for Peterson’s review for potential purchase of the property. Based on our review of existing damage, deterioration and lack of functional efficiency it was determined that a new location was needed.
CIDA provided design services for their new Hillsboro campus. This development includes a 22-acre site development with six buildings supporting administration and heavy machinery sales and services. The six structures included office and showroom space, rental sales and service, equipment repair shops including paint and sandblast, weld shops, cranes, parts warehouse, fueling and wash bay facilities.
