Grace Chapel
“In our experience working with CIDA, they have listened to our vision, our needs, our limitations and have created magnificent plans. It is nice to be able to have interior and exterior architects and designers available to help us ideate and bring our thoughts into reality.
Working with them since 2011, it has been an enjoyable experience and they feel like an extended part of the Grace Chapel Family.”

Description
CIDA has had a long-standing relationship with Grace Chapel and has assisted in small to large remodels on an existing leased tenant space. We conducted many design charrettes with key Grace members, often finding ways to marry seemingly opposing needs, to accommodate all requests to provide the “best bang for the buck” for the community. This approach was only amplified when Grace was finally ready to find and purchase their very own home.
Completed in June 2021, Grace Chapel’s first “home of their own” includes the complete renovation of an existing 20,000 square foot concrete tilt structure and the addition of a 14,000 square foot metal building multi-purpose (chapel & gymnasium) space. This permanent home allows all of their ministries to collocate in the same building for the first time.
The adaptive reuse and renovation of the previous college classroom and office building includes a large teen worship space, central gathering lobby and coffee bar, along with youth classrooms from infant to 5th Grade. The new multi-purpose addition includes an over 700-seat chapel with conversion to a full-size basketball and volleyball court.
